MG is official mobility partner of Miss Universe PHL

MG PHILIPPINES was named as the mobility partner of Miss Universe Philippines for the third year in a row. The pageant, held over the weekend, also recognized the winner as the official MG Philippines brand ambassador “for the duration of her reign.”

Since the pageant’s inaugural year in 2020, MG has been supporting the brand which is seen to champion and empower the modern Filipino woman. The winner goes home with a myriad of prizes, including a brand-new MG ZS Alpha crossover SUV. In a release, MG Philippines said the ZS Alpha “has been well-received by the general motoring public, and MG Philippines is certain the winner of this year’s Miss Universe Philippines will truly enjoy driving this dynamic, modern, British heritage crossover SUV.”

The vehicle is powered by an efficient 1.5-liter, naturally aspirated engine producing 114hp and 150Nm. It boasts an eight-inch LCD infotainment unit equipped with Apple CarPlay, a push start/stop button, a multi-function steering wheel, plus modern driving aids such as a reverse camera, anti-lock brakes, cornering brake control, electronic brake assist, electronic brakeforce distribution, hill start assist, tire pressure monitoring, traction control, and a large panoramic “Stargazer” sunroof.
